In May 2023, the main steel export products include:China galvanized sheet (strip) ,medium thick wide steel strip,hot rolled steel strips, Medium plate ,coated plate (strip) ,Seamless steel pipe,steel wire ,welded steel pipe ,cold rolled steel strip,steel bar, profile steel,cold rolled thin steel sheet, electrical steel sheet ,hot rolled thin steel sheet, hot rolled narrow steel strip,etc.
In May, China exported 8.356 million tons of steel, China's steel exports to Asia and South America increased significantly, of which Indonesia, South Korea, Pakistan, Brazil are an increase of about 120,000 tons. Among them, the hot rolled coil and medium and thick plate have the most obvious month-on-month change, and have risen for 3 consecutive months, which is the highest level since 2015.
In addition, the export volume of rod and wire was the highest in the past two years.
