As mentioned, the galvanized steel coil is further-processing on cold rolled steel coil.
So factory will dip the cold rolled steel coil into the zinc pot. After controlling facilities temperature , time and speed to let zinc and iron fully reaction in annealing furnace and zinc pot. It will appear different surface and zinc flower.At last the finished galvanized steel coil must be passivated to maintain the durability of zinc layer.
This photo is the passivation process for galvanized steel coil. the yellow color liquid is specially used for protecting zinc layer.
Some factories don’t do passivation on galvanized steel coil in order to decrease the cost and price.But on the other hand.End users really can experience galvanized steel coil quality while using long time.

For galvanized steel coil, the higher zinc coating, the higher price. Normally galvanized steel coil in thickness1.0mm~2.0mm with common 40gsm zinc coating is most cost-effective. Below 1.0mm thickness, the thinner, the more expensive. You can ask our sales staff in your standard to get a good price.
