What is wire rod

1, rebar
The general length of rebar is 9m, 12m, 9m long thread is mainly used for road construction, 12m long thread is mainly used for bridge construction. The specification range of rebar is generally 6-50mm, and the state allows deviation. According to the strength, there are three types of rebar: HRB335, HRB400 and HRB500.
2, round steel
As the name suggests, round steel is a solid strip of steel with a round cross-section, divided into hot-rolled, forged and cold-drawn three kinds. There are many materials of round steel, such as: 10#, 20#, 45#, Q215-235, 42CrMo, 40CrNiMo, GCr15, 3Cr2W8V, 20CrMnTi, 5CrMnMo, 304, 316, 20Cr, 40Cr, 20CrMo, 35CrMo and so on.
Hot rolled round steel specifications for the 5.5-250 mm, 5.5-25 mm is a small round steel, straight bars supplied in bundles, used as reinforcing bars, bolts and a variety of mechanical parts; greater than 25 mm round steel, mainly used in the manufacture of mechanical parts or for seamless steel pipe billet.
3、Wire rod
Wire common types of Q195, Q215, Q235 three kinds, but the construction of steel coils with only Q215, Q235 two kinds, generally often used specifications have a diameter of 6.5mm, diameter 8.0mm, diameter 10mm, at present, China's largest coils can be up to a diameter of 30mm. wire in addition to used as a reinforcing bar for the construction of steel reinforced concrete, but also can be applied to the wire for drawing, netting with the wire. 4, coil screw
Coil screw is like a wire as coiled together rebar, belongs to a kind of steel for construction. Rebar is widely used in a variety of building structures, coil compared to the advantages of rebar is: rebar only 9-12, coil can be used according to the need for arbitrary interception.
Classification of rebar
Usually according to the chemical composition, production process, rolling shape, supply form, diameter size, and the use of steel in the structure of the classification:
(1) according to the rolled shape
① glossy rebar: Grade I rebar (Q235 steel rebar) are rolled for glossy circular cross-section, the supply form of disk round, diameter not greater than 10mm, length 6m ~ 12m.
② ribbed steel bars: spiral, herringbone and crescent-shaped three, generally Ⅱ, Ⅲ grade steel rolled herringbone, Ⅳ grade steel rolled into spiral and crescent-shaped.
③ Steel wire (divided into two kinds of low carbon steel wire and carbon steel wire) and steel strand.
④ cold rolled twisted steel bar: cold rolled and cold twisted into shape.
(2) according to the size of the diameter
Steel wire (diameter 3 ~ 5mm),
Fine steel bar (diameter 6~10mm),
Coarse rebar (diameter greater than 22mm).
