3pe anticorrosion steel pipe includes seamless steel pipe, spiral steel pipe and lsaw steel pipe. The three-layer structure of polyethylene (3PE) anticorrosion coating is widely used in the petroleum pipeline industry for its good corrosion resistance, water and gas permeability and mechanical properties.This anti-corrosion treatment greatly improves the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe, which is suitable for pipeline systems such as oil transmission, gas transmission, water transportation and heat supply.
The structure of 3PE anticorrosion steel pipe first layer:
Epoxy powder coating (FBE):
The thickness is about 100-250 microns.
Provide excellent adhesion and chemical corrosion resistance, and the surface of the steel pipe closely combined.
Second layer: binder (Adhesive):
Thickness of approximately 170-250 microns.
It is a copolymer binder that connects the epoxy powder coating to the polyethylene layer.
Third layer: Polyethylene (PE) coating:
Thickness is approximately 2.5-3.7 mm.
Provides mechanical protection and a waterproofing layer against physical damage and moisture penetration.
Manufacturing process of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe
1. surface treatment: the surface of the steel pipe is sandblasted or shot-blasted to remove rust, oxidized skin and other impurities and improve the adhesion of the coating.
2. Heating the steel pipe: the steel pipe is heated to a certain temperature (usually 180-220 ℃) to promote the fusion and adhesion of epoxy powder.
3. Coating epoxy powder: evenly spray epoxy powder on the surface of heated steel pipe to form the first layer of coating.
4. Apply binder: Apply copolymer binder on top of the epoxy powder coating to ensure tight bonding with the polyethylene layer.
5. Polyethylene coating: A final polyethylene layer is applied over the binder layer to form a complete three-layer structure.
6. Cooling and curing: The coated steel pipe is cooled and cured to ensure that the three layers of coating are closely combined to form a solid anti-corrosion layer.
